Come and try the Blue Dot Adventure surf and jump package! Half a day’s surfing combined with half a day’s coasteering all at special military rate! Our fully qualified and super experienced instructors can offer this to military groups staying at RAF St Mawgan, Okehampton and Chivenor. Combine the excitement of learning to surf with the adrenalin of coasteering for a full fun packed day of adventure training. We are fully insured and can provide all the necessary paperwork required for your JSATFA including risk assessments we also take pictures and video on the way round which we load to our facebook page for your team to share. Adventure Training (AT) is an essential element of formal military training, helping support and underpin the values and standards of the British Armed Forces. Properly conducted it improves an individual's ability to withstand the rigours of operations and rapid deployments and provides shared experiences that aid group cohesion. As Blue Dot Adventure are contracted to provide The Royal Marines Recruits with their Resource and Initiative training and as a large proportion of our staff are ex-services AT senior instructors, we know more than most how to properly conduct: "challenging outdoor training for Service Personnel in specified adventurous activities, involving controlled exposure to risk, to develop leadership, teamwork, physical fitness, moral and physical courage, among other personal attributes and skills vital to operational capability." Within our team we have over 30 years experience at providing AT to Marines, Army, Navy and RAF in the UK and the rest of the World and as our instructors are qualified to the highest standard we can pitch our activities at a level that will challenge everyone! We have experience and can operate from areas near any of the UK’s training camps, including Okehampton and RAF ST Mawgan, from Cornwall to Scotland and can provide as little or as much as your AT exped requires whether that is a full AT package including all the equipment or just the instructors.
