Are you one of those people that when you see a body of water you have to jump right in, rain or shine, summer or winter? If so then Wild Swimming is for you! Here at blue dot we all love the water and have grown up exploring every available wild swimming spot throughout the South West from secret coves on the Atlantic coast to hidden inland waterways and pools high on the moors of Dartmoor.
All you have to do is contact us and we can arrange the trip that suits you and your group best depending on your location, age range, level of expectation and of course the weather. You can either meet us here at the centre or we can meet you at the location where you will get a full safety brief before setting off on your watery excursion. Guides All our guides have stacks of local knowledge combined with high standards of coaching and guiding qualifications in other outdoor activities as well as either being qualified beach lifeguards or white water kayak rescue trained, so you are in good hands. Equipment All you need to provide is your swimming costume and a towel; we provide safety support, wetsuits if you need one, a record of the trip in either images or video on our waterproof cameras and plenty of hot tea and biscuits for afterwards! Packages Coast - we can take you to explore the sea caves and secret coves around the coast of Devon and Cornwall. Moors - Languish in the peaty pools of Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor surrounded by thousands of years of human history or feel the vertigo as you float above a quarries hidden depths. Rivers - drift with the current through some of the UK’s most beautiful scenery as you make your way on a river journey to the sea or take a refreshing dip in a plunge pool Run Swim Run – For the fitter ones amongst us; why not combine a wild swim with a wild run. What better reward during a hot run to the sea along coastal paths or secluded pool across the moors than to have a cool refreshing dip; then warm up by jogging back again.
